2019 Means of Egress Code Update Class

Course Title:  2019 CBC/CFC Means of Egress

Course Description:  This course discusses the design and inspection of components of means of egress in commercial buildings. The course covers the requirements in the 2019 California Building Code and California Fire Code. This course covers determining occupant load, means of egress capacity, number of exits, the need for fire-resistance-rated construction, exit and exit access doors and door hardware, separation of exits and exit access doors, exit access travel distance, common path of egress, when can a person egress through adjoining spaces, exit signs, egress illumination, stairways and horizontal exits.
