Course Title: Key Changes to the 2025 California Building Code
Description: This course discusses the major changes from the 2022 California Building Code to the 2025 California Building Code effective January 1, 2026.
Objectives:
• The participant will be able to explain the intent and application of the new and revised
requirements in the 2024 IBC adopted by the State of California.
• The participant will be able to explain the intent and application of the new and revised stateamendments in the 2025 California Building Code.
• The participant will be able to identify the specific code changes that have occurred betweenthe 2022 and 2025 editions of the California Building Code.
• The participant will be able to explain the applicability of new or revised design, plan review and inspection requirements in the 2025 California Building
